JULY, 14 th. RE-UNION AT PIZZERIA IMPERIAL

Last night we had a re-union, to talk about and remember our successful and enjoyable trip.
We went out for dinner to Pizzeria Imperial, in Mojácar.

Nearly everyone was there. We missed a few students who could not come: Ángela, Marta, Isa, Rubén, Sergio and Miguel Ángel.

We had a good time while we waited for the huge pizzas to arrive.

Carlos and MJ got a present: a full-sized group picture, so that we remember this trip.
Thank you guys, you will always be in our memory.

"Pelo-pincho" nearly fell asleep after his 3rd pizza!!

A very original dessert, made of candy.

Our last group picture. Once again, thanks a lot to everyone.

Keep smiling, be good, and enjoy your summer.

LAST DAY. DEPARTURE & FAREWELL.

Sunday, 4th July. Today we woke up very early (as usual), although this time we had to get up and get ready to leave Paignton.

Macarena’s host family stayed until the bus left. Even their dog was sad.

Triste y sacando la lengua… ¿será una burla? ¿estará posando para la foto? (qué dificil es el idioma perruno)

WE LOVE YOU, NIMA!

Our last group picture.

You have been an amazing group. Everybody at Devon School of English has congratulated us for our attitude, participation and friendliness. We hope you have enjoyed it as much as we have, and you have also learnt a lot (not only English)

(MJ)

WELL DONE EVERYBODY!! WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!!

THAT’S ALL, FOLKS!

DAY 13. WOODLANDS

SATURDAY, 2nd week.
To celebrate our last day in Paignton, we went to Woodlands, a big theme park where we had a lot of fun.

The water slides were the most successful, and some of us got soaking wet.

Back on the bus, we sang "Happy Birthday" to Natalia.
Feliz cumpleaños!!!!!

Carlos and MJ also got a surprise present, although it wasn't their birthday.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, GIRLS

DAY 12. DARTMOOR & DIPLOMAS

Friday, 2nd week
Today we visited Dartmoor National Park. The bus was one hour late, so we took some pictures while we were waiting.

We climbed up Hay Tor, a massive rock from which we could see Tor Bay, even though it was cloudy.

Coming down was even more difficult, especially for some girls who were not wearing proper shoes.

Gracias a nuestra discreción los ponys salieron huyendo.

Yuhuuuuu

In the afternoon, some of our students "offered" to do some car washing, to compensate for having arrived late at some of the activities.

And finally Chris and Bret, the academic directors, gave our students their diplomas and teachers' reports -you all got very good marks, congratulations.

Él recibió un montón de aplausos
Enhorabuena

DAY 11. LIVING COASTS

Thursday, 2nd week.
Today we went to Torquay, and visited a place called "Living Coasts", where we saw different sea animals: penguins, seals, birds and fish.

The football World Cup is a very big event here in England, and the penguins are also following it.
Notice the flags of the 8 countries that have qualified for the quarter-finals.

Y qué "pesaicos" con el "furgol"...

This baby penguin is 6 weeks old, and he's even bigger than his parents.
Lo bautizamos como "Pelo Pincho"

MJ looking for something she had lost in the water.
Si por poco me ahogo...

DAY 10. EXETER

Today we went on a short trip to Exeter.

Before the shopping ....

After the shopping

DAY 9. FISHING & DISCO

Tuesday, 2nd week.
Another boat trip today, but this time we went fishing.

Some students decided that fishing nothing was very boring, so they started to play with the school leaders (Thanks, Tom)

After 45 minutes, José Ignacio and Clara managed to catch one. WELL DONE!!

Carlos decided to turn his fishing rod into a rock guitar, and he amused the rest of "fishermen" with his singing skills.

Y justo después... ¡¡¡¡¡llovió!!!!!

Yes, RAIN AT LAST! If it's too hot in Vera, I can do some singing when we get back.

In the evening we enjoyed the football match against Portugal before the disco.

Most girls went dancing in their best outfits, while the boys stayed at school until the match finished.

¡¡¡Ala!!! ¡Qué caras!
